Do I have to install the training onto my computer?
No, you load the CD into the computers CD drive and view as needed.
What program do I use to view the training?
QuickTime for either Windows or Macs. You have the option to download QuickTime free from their website or from our launch screen.
What system requirements do I need to run the training?
Windows: Pentium class processor, Windows 2000, XP or Vista,128MB of RAM, 1024*768 monitor, CD-ROM drive
Macintosh: Power PC processor, Mac OS X or higher, 128MB of RAM, 1024*768 monitor, CD-ROM drive.
Is the trainer qualified?
Yes. All of our trainers are expert instructors with training methods that are imaginative and detailed.
Is the training a complete movie or in different modules?
The training is arranged into a number of modules that can be viewed in succession or individually.
How long are the modules?
Each module varies between 2 and 20 minutes, due to the amount of information needed to teach each topic. The average time is around 10 minutes, allowing you to repeat and review modules quickly.
Is the training interactive?
Yes. The training is full motion video and audio, with expert instruction allowing you to see all the steps, hear the detailed explanations to perform each task. The interface allows you to pause, fast forward/rewind, toggle from the index to the sub headings menu, skip a module or select a topic of interest at any given time.
Can I use the CD’s to troubleshoot one issue that I am not familiar with?
Yes. All you need to do is click on the contents icon, and select the topic that you wish to review. It’s that simple…you can be up to speed in seconds. It’s like having an in-house trainer 24/7.
Can I train all of my staff with the one CD Training Set?
Yes. brainbox software training offers a site licence with each CD Training Set purchased. This allows you to train everyone that is employed at that site (address).
Is it legal to install the training onto a server?
Yes. Our Site Licence does allow for the training to be installed at the address listed only. However, we do not give advice on this service.
Will I save time and money using CD Training?
Definitely YES… CD Training can be tailored in time, duration, location and topic to suit your needs. The CD’s can be shared, reducing the hefty costs of sending staff to day seminars. On a cost per head basis CD Training is unbeatable value.
